Updated (FINAL) storyboard

Hello everyone! In this amazing post, I'll show you guys the FINAL storyboard. Yes, we have made three storyboards for this project but this is the one that has all the actual scenes drawn out for you to see. Enjoy!!!

________________________________________

Honestly, looking back at our initial storyboard (before we started filming), there are not THAT many changes—mostly additions. While, of course, we were using that as a guide, at the end of the day, things like the amount of scenes and their angles will change! Some things we added that we hadn't thought of until the editing process was...JUMP CUTS! These ended up playing a huge role in shaping the energy and pacing of our film. Leah and Nahomy decided to use them in the just dance clips, walking to the universities, and the pool day scene. They helped make certain scenes feel more dynamic, especially clips where we wanted to show time passing without dragging them out.

Another big addition was the calendar clips (thank you, Phi, for the suggestion!), which turned out to be a game-changer!! We originally thought the film might be confusing for someone who didn’t already know the plot, but these quick 2-second clips really helped tie everything together. The demonstration of Vale's packing days, hang-out days, appointments, etc, shows the audience insight into her life on ACTUAL paper. This not only helps them get to know her character better but also allows for a clearer understanding that they're all leaving for college. The calendar was crucial in creating a smooth flow, especially with all the cuts. We also switched up the ending of our film, as the initial one had an overhead shot of us hugging, which we ditched! We hadn't accounted for the title sequence then, so all the names, credits, and titles took up a chunk of time at the end as well!
