Hello to my amazing blogger fans! Welcome back! I'll be discussing the journey we made through ALL of Florida JUST to get these shots in!!! Just kidding, there's more to it😉 but LETS GET RIGHT INTO IT.

As you should know from my prior blogs, my group members and I traveled 11 hours and visited 6 different universities in Florida! My school offers a college trip where students can visit and explore local in-state university campuses—which may become our future schools... Leah, Nay, Phi, and I had decided we were going to go on the trip before we had even thought of this project. So, you can understand why this was the PERFECT opportunity to get some clips in for our project😛. Our plan was to shoot a short clip of each girl walking in front of a sign that had their assigned university on it! So mine would have been UCF, Phi's was UF, Nahomy's was FSU, and Leah's was USF!
Day 1
On the first day of our college trip, we were set to film Phi and my clips: UF and UCF! However, as I mentioned in my "Struggles" blog, we didn't end up filming my scene in front of UCF because of the 'camera left on the bus' incident, so that was definitely a failure on our (Jason's) behalf! So, for our next stop at UF, we made SURE to carry the camera with us everywhere. This was a self-guided tour, so the lads and I walked through the entire campus to look for the perfect sign that read "University of Florida." Once, we found a scenic place where we could finally film Phi's (or should I say Eli's) clip! We directed Phi to stand in front of the camera to cover the sign, then walk off into the distance to create a wide shot. Also, remember we were filming this in front of a busy area with many UF students passing and wanting to get through😭. Nahomy, being the queen camerawoman she is, recorded this very quickly and steadily! Just like that, we were set and enjoyed the rest of the campus😌! Later, we met back up with the rest of the group and grubbed at the dining hall and later played UNO with some of our other friends in the game room. Overall, we all LOVED this campus and rated it in our top two!
