Helloooo, my people! I know you have been waiting to see how the editing is going to go down in our lit opener..so let's get into it!

We have decided Capcut will be the best way to edit the overall film, but we might use Imovie for some clips as well! For example, we wanted the first shot of the car radio to be stable and still and Leah suggested we use imovies stabilizing feature to fix this issue! Since I have had experience using Capcut before, I think this is the best way to go, especially because it is so straightforward. I don't really think we'll end up using a lot of effects as we don't have any planned as of now but we will for sure be using plenty of transitions! Match cuts are going to be a big part of our opener as we connect flashback scenes with the current one so meticulous editing will definitely be used there! Considering we haven't finished filming all our clips yet, we have yet to run into any big problems, yip! Right now our biggest issue will probably be the audio—figuring out how to make it shorter and flow.
Phi and I put some clips together just to get a little glimpse at what we're looking at...IT LOOKS SO GOOD! We didn't even add filters or anything yet and it looks super cool so I really hope the final product meets our expectations (which have definitely raised)! When we sent it in our group chat, it was a hit😛. As you may know, the queen (me) will be the primary editor for this project but of course, the girls are going to help me. We all have certain editing techniques that we all want to include so having them is very helpful when it comes to fresh ideas!
