Hey guy! Sooooo... WE JUST HAD OUR FIRST DAY OF "FILMING"!!! I couldn't wait to start this project because I'm so excited to see the final product! I really hope the final result plays out how it has in my head (or even better)!

To be honest, we didn't really do any of the actual filming, BUT we started one of the important parts of the film overall. Today was dedicated to taking pictures! Our opener starts off with a shot of Lucia's room, which is decorated with stuffed animals, friendship bracelet kits, and (most importantly) PICTURES of the girls together. These pictures are vital to demonstrating the close relationship they've had since they were all young girls. So basically what we did today was take a BUNCH of different pictures from different 'eras' of our lives.
Phi and James got to my house at three pm (we had initially settled on one pm but Phi had volunteering) and a half hour later our other actresses, Natalie and Lauren, arrived. This was actually the first time Phi and I had met Lauren and the first time in a while since we had seen Natalie! At first, we were just talking, and getting to know each other, but we soon got to work. Phi and I started by explaining the project (with our storyboard) in detail to the girls so they have a better understanding of what it is that they're doing! Once they understood the plot, we started going through my closet to find the clothes for the different types of pictures we were going to take. Phi and I decided to do a few different themes: Halloween, birthday party, Christmas, chilling in the house, and playing in the park. For the Halloween photoshoot, I just grabbed random headbands and props around my house and put costumes together. Phi was a pirate, Lauren was a bunny, Natalie was Mickey Mouse, and I was a princess! We went outside and had James (our cameraman/photographer) take our pictures! Next for "Phi's birthday", I just put a random "6" candle on top of a brownie and lit it up. Phi has brought a birthday headband, so it was perfect! For the Christmas shoot, we rummaged through my closet looking for pajamas to use. Once we were in costume, we got (empty) mugs and posed with them. Finally, we changed AGAIN and went on a 10-minute walk to the park where we played around and got our pictures taken.
When we got back to my house, I downloaded the pictures from my digital camera to my phone and ordered some Wingstop for the group!! While waiting we went through the pictures and gossiped about life. Everyone ended up leaving around 8:30-ish.
