Hello, today I will be making a sad announcement... Leah and Nahomy will no longer be working with us. Unfortunately, we all had difficulties finding time to film and coordinate this, so they decided to leave. Phi and I will still be working together! Although I am leaving for the whole winter break to the motherland (Colombia), Phi and I decided to stick together and continue our plan. So, although we are VERY sad to be missing out on Leah's artistic abilities and Nahomy's creativity, we will not let this bump in the road ruin our plan!! With our group cut down from four to two, we had to rethink how to balance all the work and make up their contributions. We will have to divide the tasks more efficiently, double up on responsibilities, and become pros at multitasking. Thankfully Phi and I are committed to making this opener work, and we're determined to bring our original vision to life despite the challenges.
To keep the momentum going, we came up with a solution that works for everybody! Instead of scrapping our idea, we were sticking with our original concept and bringing two friends over to act as Mandy and Amber. Since they are not part of Media Studies, they'll only focus on acting, which gives Phi and me full control over filming, editing, and coordinating everything behind the scenes. Their energy and excitement are giving us a fresh start, and honestly, their payment in food (probably Wingstop) feels like the perfect deal! While it'll be more work for us to handle the technical aspects, we're up for a challenge and ready to make this project something we're proud of!! Sooooo, now I will introduce our new group members! Although they will not be helping with the editing, film shoots, or really any of the director's 'brains', their role as actresses will help us immensely!
