Hey guys, I'm Mariana!! I'm 15 years old and in my sophomore year at Everglades High School. I was born and have lived in Florida my wholeee life, but my parents are both Colombian!!. I love to travel to different countries and learn about new cultures. I've been playing club volleyball for around five years but I started playing when I was 8. When I'm not playing volleyball or studying (both of those are half my life..), I like to hang out with friends, watch movies, and eat!! 

    I initially had no idea what this class was on, I just chose it for the aice credit, but once I was introduced to it, I found it very captivating! This class has sparked my interest in the media and its impacts on society. I hope to learn all the detail and work that goes into my favorite films. I think this will help me truly enjoy and understand what I am watching. The components for the aice exam seem fun and I am excited to get started! I hope this class will give me more of an idea of what I want to pursue as a career once I'm older!!
